Mohamed Sanu Has A Higher Career Quarterback Rating Than His New QB, Tom Brady

Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu was traded to the Patriots in the wee hours of Tuesday morning, and believe it or not, he might be the second best quarterback in New England.

Sanu may be known for his pass catching abilities, but the WR was actually a quarterback in high school who led his team to their first playoff berth in 40 years under center.

Having a secret throwing ability, Sanu has been used in numerous trick plays over the course of his career as a Bengal and Falcons, and he’s been remarkable in doing so. In fact, he may be the best throwing WR ever (if such thing even exists).

Sanu’s stats throwing the ball are remarkable, going 7-8 for 223 yards and four touchdowns, with a perfect career passer rating of 158.3. Yes, more than half the times Sanu threw a ball in his career, it went for a touchdown.

Granted Sanu’s sample size under center is astronomically smaller, but it’s humorous to think that Sanu beats out Brady is quite a few statistical categories including yards per attempt, quarterback rating, passer rating, touchdown to interception ratio, and more.
