With the signing of Jay Cutler today, yet another team opted to pass on Colin Kaepernick.
The Dolphins chose to sign Jay Cutler, and whether or not it had to do with Kaepernick’s protest, Cutler simply being a better fit in his former offensive coordinator’s offense, there’s no doubting stretches of poor play has hindered his ability to wind up on a team.
Never forget that one time in 2015, when the former 49ers quarterback made one of the most bone-headed plays in NFL history while playing the Rams. Kaepernick completely missed both of his wide receivers who were as as open as open gets in exchange for a run that went for negative yards.
