NFL Considering Possibility Of Playing In Empty Stadiums This Season

The 2020 NFL Draft is nearing and it will be an unprecedented one due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

After originally being scheduled to go down in Las Vegas atop the Bellagio Fountains, the picks are going to be read from Roger Goodell’s basement. Yes, literally his basement.

If the virus doesn’t slow soon, a postponement of the NFL season or at the least major changes is looming, and one of those major changes could be playing in empty stadiums.

According to Lawrence Tynes, the league is exploring the possibility of playing without fans in attendance, and is seeking advice from teams such as the Dolphins, Buccaneers, Jaguars, Bengals and Chargers, franchises with notoriously low attendance numbers.
