Drew Brees broke arguably the most prestigious record in all of football Monday night when he broke Peyton Manning’s mark for most passing yards in NFL history.
What did the NFL have prepared? A laminated certificate that looks like it was made in Microsoft Word by an intern at the league office for Drew to hang on his fridge when he gets home.
“Now which one of you in the office of the league whose teams make $15 billion a year has that Microsoft Office password. That’s right, Jim. Jim, can you make a certificate for us to give to Drew Brees tonight?” pic.twitter.com/F0wwzlBX4N

Wouldn’t be surprised if a girl at the local New Orleans middle school came home with a nicer one for winning a class spelling bee last week.

The laminated piece of paper that Drew Brees was given was a step up from the perfect attendance certificate I got for not missing a day in middle school.
