NFL Fined Steelers’ Cam Heyward For Honoring His Father Who Died Of Brain Cancer

Yesterday, we told you that the NFL was not allowing Steelers’ running back DeAngelo Williams to honor his mother who died of breast cancer. Well, today, Williams’ teammate Cam Heyward revealed on Twitter that he has been fined by the NFL for wearing eye black that honored his father and long time NFL player Craig “Ironhead” Heyward, who died of brain cancer when Cam was 17 years old.

The NFL continues to make a mockery out of itself with fines and rules that prohibit players from doing anything on the field that won’t make a dime to their pocket (which are filled with billions by the way).

  1. NFL are a joke Until Goodell is shoved out the door the league has no credibility. for every 100$ raised for their cancer drive 8 $ goes to cancer research where does the other 92$ go? Fining guys like Heyward and slapping Williams in the face is evern more stinging when you realize just how much this tax exempt entity is skimming off a charitable cause. Crooks and yet we are supposed to be upset at guys like Ray Rice and Greg Hardy…….Not sure who the bigger criminal is these days. i do know that for every one in a NFL team there is at least one to match it in a suit at the NFL head office.

  2. Here is something to pay attention , a great opportunity for work for those who want to use their free time to make money using their computers… I have been doing this since last two years and I am making 40 to 70 dollars per hour … In the last week I have made 12,245 for almost 18 hours sitting ….

?There are no special skills required just basic typing and an internet connection ….

?There are no time constraints … You may do this any time when you are free ….

?Here is what I’ve been doing….

  3. *There are certainly a lot of details like that to take into consideration. That is a great point to bring up. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly there are questions like the one you bring up where the most important thing will be working in honest good faith. I don?t know if best practices have emerged around things like that, but I am sure that your job is clearly identified as a fair game. Both boys and girls feel the impact of just a moment’s pleasure, for the rest of their lives.

  4. At the time of the heat, the money was invested in the stock market. That experience made the 69-year-old Dario finally become a global macro investor, and used this to shape the understanding of the economy and the market. Dalio believes that capitalism is the most effective mechanism for resource allocation in terms of raising living standards. But to this day, the capitalist system has little or no actual income growth for most people.

  5. Today, I went to the beach front with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is entirely off topic but I had to tell someone!

  6. Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my iphone and tested to see if it can survive a 30 foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My iPad is now broken and she has 83 views. I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!

  7. I simply wished to thank you very much once again. I’m not certain the things I would have carried out in the absence of the entire suggestions contributed by you about that problem. It was a fearsome situation for me, however , being able to view a professional technique you handled it made me to weep with gladness. I’m just grateful for the support and in addition trust you recognize what an amazing job that you’re putting in teaching the mediocre ones through your webblog. I’m certain you have never met all of us.
