NFL Network Journalist Rich Eisen has been running the 40-yard dash at the NFL combine since 2005, suit and all. And until now, his results have been less than flattering.
During his 11th annual sprint Monday, the football analyst blazed to his best time yet, 5.94 seconds, a whole .83 seconds shaved off his original time (6.77).

How did he do it? According to colleague Mike Mayock, Eisen’s 2016 departure was his “best start ever.” Could it be that a last-minute workout with Brandon Marshall helped his 10-split? A visual comparison of his most recent runs suggests as much:
