Packers Offering $12 An Hour For Fans To Help Shovel Snow Before Playoff Game Sunday

The Green Bay Packers are facing off against the Seahawks in the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs Sunday, and in order to have the stadium and field in playable condition, the teams is calling on the fans to help out in exchange for some cold [quite literally] cold cash.

A snow storm is expected to hit Green Bay, Wisconsin on Saturday night before the game and drop up to 10 inches, and the Packers are asking for 700 volunteers to help clear the snowfall before kickoff for $12 an hour.

According to their website, shovelers, who have to be 18 years old in order to participate, must arrive by 6 A.M., no shovels required.

This is a common practice for NFL teams in cold weather climates, with the Packers having to do the same already twice this year.
