Panthers’ Bruce Irvin Was Not Impressed With 49ers Following 51-13 Loss: “They Are Not World-Beaters”

The San Francisco 49ers demolished the Carolina Panthers 51-13 on Sunday.

The game, as you can see by the score, was never close.

But following the game, Bruce Irvin didn’t have a lot of good things to say about the 49ers. Irvin was actually not impressed.

I asked Panthers end Bruce Irvin just how good this 49ers team is. “They’re OK. They’re OK. They’re not world-beaters,” he said. My guess is SF will use this as another log on the motivational fire.

The 49ers are remaining undefeated team in the NFC as they sit at 7-0 after the rout vs Panthers at Levi Stadium.

The 49ers outgunned the Panthers offensively by over 150 yards. Jimmy Garoppolo finished with just four incompletions and threw two touchdown passes. Tevin Coleman had four touchdowns and was one of four 49ers running back’s that scored a touchdown on Sunday.

But despite that, Irvin is not impressed.
