Patriots Lend Team Plane To Navy To Take To Their Bowl Game

The Midshipmen football team took a two-hour flight from Annapolis, Maryland to Memphis, Tennessee Thursday for their Liberty Bowl game against Kansas State on New Year’s Eve.

And they did it in style.

After chartering flights all season, Navy reportedly wanted an “upgraded experience“ for its bowl game, and that’s where Robert Kraft came in.

The Patriots owner lent one of his two tens planes to Navy for the flight, free of charge.

“We were all pampered for a little bit,” Navy coach Ken Niumatalolo told the Post.
