Jason Pierre Paul may have the worst luck, or judgement, of anyone.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defender was involved in a car crash in 2019 that left him with a broken neck, and a broken brand new $350,000 Ferrari.
Pierre-Paul lost control of his 2019 Ferrari 488 Pista, a limited time run race focused vehicle from Ferrari on May 2nd, crashing into a wall. He was driving the 711 horsepower beast in the rain, which Pierre-Paul says was the cause of the accident. He was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Nearly a year later, Pierre-Paul has shared photos from the accident, both of himself and the vehicle, captioned, “I remember sittin home for months I mean months while time went by. But you know what kept me always going, I found somethin to be thankful for in this so call life bihhhh. Fux a luxury car I got plenty of them. How can it be so luxury if you died in it. Live your best life TODAY!!!”
Pierre-Paul was sidelined for an extended period of time due to the injury, but was able to return during Week 8 of the 2019-2020 season, and had a productive remainder of the year.
