Raiders Open Stadium Windows For First Time Revealing Gigantic Al Davis Memorial Torch

The world’s largest 3D printed object now resides in the home of the Raiders.

The newly transplanted team opened the lanai doors on their nearly completed Allegiant Stadium Thursday, revealing the massive torch built to memorialize the late Al Davis, former owner of the franchise.

The structure stands 85-feet tall and towers over the north end of the Raiders new digs, the focal point of the $2 billion stadium. The team had a torch in the Oakland Coliseum for Davis, which was microscopic relative to the new one.

The torch will be viewable from outside the stadium when the doors are opened on event days, weather permitting.
