BALTIMORE, MD – Just weeks after Trent Richardson went on record on saying he hopes to eventually land in Canton, he finds himself unable to make an NFL roster.

The Baltimore Ravens waived the running back Wednesday afternoon, the former No. 3 overall pick in the 2012 draft and first-ever legally blind player at his position.

Richardson, who signed with the team earlier this offseason, entered training camp still hurt from a lingering hamstring and knee issues, which proved too much to overcome to make a roster spot.

The Ravens currently still have Justin Forsett, Kenneth Dixon, Terrence West, Javious Allen and Lorenzo Tallafero as listed running backs.
