Colt McCoy put on a stellar performance last night in Dallas as the Washington Redskins upset the Dallas Cowboys 20-17.
After the game, McCoy was interviewed by ESPN, but when ESPN Deportes attempted to interview the former Longhorn QB, the Redskins senior PR guy, Tony Willie wasn’t having any of it. He pulled Colt away and told the report: “No means NO.” Here’s his reasoning behind it:
“We wanted to get Colt in to hear coach’s postgame speech. …I wasn’t denying access. I wanted Colt to hear coach talk. I felt we needed to get him inside. …Right after the speech, Colt went out and did the interview. I explained the situation to them. They were happy in the end.”
