Referee Sarah Thomas To Become First Woman In History To Officiate An NFL Playoff Game

Sarah Thomas step on the field Sunday to referee the Chargers-Patriots matchup, and in doing so will become the first woman to officiate an NFL postseason game in history.

The down judge, who made history four years ago by becoming the league’s first full-time female referee, will be part of lead official Ron Torbert’s crew.
