Referees Cost The Bills A Chance To Kick Game-Winning FG After Questionable Blindside Block Penalty

It wouldn’t be an NFL game if not for some controversy.

In overtime of today’s Wild Card game between the Bills and Texans in Houston, Bills offensive tackle Cody Ford was called for a questionable blindside block penalty that not only cost the Bills a 15-yard penalty but it also knocked them out of field-goal range.

The Bills ended up failing to convert on 3rd down and punted the football back to Houston, who were able to march down the field to kick the game winning field goal.
