Referees Cost Vikings A Touchdown After Wrongfully Calling Adam Thielen Down

Tonight’s Vikings-Rams game in Los Angeles on Thursday Night Football is a big one that could have massive ramifications on seedings in the NFC. Unfortunately, the referees are doing their part to create unnecessary controversies, per usual.

During the second quarter, Vikings WR Adam Thielen caught a pass and went down, he immediately got up and started running toward the end zone, in a play that should’ve resulted in a touchdown for the Vikings.

Instead, the referees ruled Theilen down.

But after looking at the replay, it was clear that Thielen wasn’t touched and should’ve been allowed to score. Unfortunately for the Vikings, the play was not reviewable and the team had to settle for a field goal.
