REPORT: Arizona Cardinals To Pass On Kyler Murray And Select Nick Bosa #1 Overall

After all the news in recent weeks, almost every NFL fan expects Kyler Murray’s name to be the first name announced come Thursday night when the Cardinals open up the 2019 draft.

Not so fast apparently.

According to Tampa Bay Buccaneers WR Antonio Bryant, the Cardinals push towards selecting Murray with the first pick has been nothing but a smoke screen, and they will select Nick Bosa #1 overall, keeping Josh Rosen as their quarterback.

The revelation aligns with talk from others with sources close to the situation saying the team will indeed stick with Rosen at quarterback and pass on Murray.

That scenario of course leaves Murray available to fall to the Raiders, Buccaneers, Bengals, Giants, Jaguars, Broncos and Dolphins, all teams high in the first round that either need or would presumably draft a QB with their first pick.

Raiders coach Jon Gruden has made it clear that he loves Murray and with Carr’s future in Oakland in doubt, the Bay could be a likely destination for the Heisman winner.
