Chicago Bears tight end Zach Miller suffered one of the most gruesome injuries you’ll see on a football field in a dislocated knee Sunday.

The injury occurred during the Bears game against the Saints, when Miller’s knee gave out while landing during a touchdown catch that was overturned.
Miller underwent emergency surgery that night in effort to save his left leg as artery damage was uncovered.

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, cardiovascular surgeons had to draft tissue from Miller’s right leg to use on the left.
