The Los Angeles Chargers entered the 2019 season with high expectations as the team was looking to build off it’s 11-5 season in 2018.
But that is not the case this year, as the Chargers sit at 4-7 and nearly a lock to miss the playoffs. A lot of the struggles for the Chargers sit at the feet of quarterback Philip Rivers, who has throw a total of seven interceptions in his last two games.
As the Chargers prepare for a critical divisional game against the Denver Broncos, reports are the Chargers could bench Rivers if he continues to struggle.
If the Chargers do bench Rivers, they will insert backup Tyrod Taylor.
