REPORT: Colin Kaepernick Has Received Zero Interest Since His Workout In Atlanta

Last week, Colin Kaepernick was scheduled to work out in front of 26 teams in a workout that was organized by the NFL.

But after an issue with the waiver the league requested Kaepernick to sign, Kaepernick’s camp abruptly canceled the workout and moved it to Charles R. Drew High School in Riverdale, Georgia.

Kaepernick went through the workout, showed off his elite arm talent, unfortunately for Kaepernick, only eight of those 26 teams showed up.

Since the workout, Kaepernick has heard from zero teams as no team has shown any interest, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

“Zero. Absolutely zero. The workout last week did absolutely nothing to enhance the chances that Colin Kaepernick is going to wind up with another team, There hasn’t been a team that has requested a workout. T

here hasn’t been a team that has requested a visit. There hasn’t been a team that has expressed interest in signing him. So, despite the fact that one week ago we saw Colin Kaepernick work out at the high school down in the Atlanta area, it has not translated into any results, and though the league wanted to try to help out, at least said

it was trying to help out, nothing’s come of it. Colin Kaepernick’s wait continues and it looks like it’s going to be continuing for a very, very, very long time.”

The 32-year-old quarterback remains a free agent.
