REPORT: Dez Bryant Turned Down Offer From Ravens In Hopes Giants Will Sign Him

It’s been over a month since the Dallas Cowboys parted ways with wide receiver Dez Bryant. Since then, Dez has made it clear he prefers to stay in the NFC East and play his former team twice and year for “revenge.”

After turning down a contract offer from the Baltimore Ravens, NFL Network’s Jane Slater believes that Bryant is waiting for a phone call from Giants general manager Dave Gettleman or head coach Pat Shurmur:

“Right now, it’s a little bit about revenge,” . “I think he’s holding out to see if New York happens to have a need come training camp, and I have to tell you that selfishly, I’d like to see Dez in this division. Covering the Cowboys as much as I do, because I think that he’d make a matchup that’s already entertaining now that we have Saquon Barkley and Ezekiel Elliott, now adding Dez Bryant, and I think you have a very interesting division.”

Bryant has been working out in Los Angeles with Beckham and his trainer this offseason. Could he be catching passes opposite him in a Giants’ uniform this season? Only time will tell.
