REPORT: Giants CB Deandre Baker Could Face “A Mandatory Minimum Of 15 Years” In Prison For Armed Robbery Charges

Deandre Baker has a serious legal battle on his hands and whether or not the New York Giants cornerback will be able to play football again is highly in doubt right now.

On Thursday, the Miramar Police Department, charging Baker with four counts of armed robbery with a firearm and four counts of aggravated assault and the details of the alleged crime could lead to Baker facing some serious jail time.

Witnesses say Baker was holding a semiautomatic weapon and if this alleged witness’ story is true, Baker could be facing a mandatory minimum of 15 years for each of the four armed robber charges under Florida law if convicted:
