The New York Giants head coaching job is expected to be open but it won’t have many suitors.
At least not if GM Dave Gettleman is retained.
According to Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News:
A handful of head coaching candidates already are not expected to be interested in the Giants’ opening if Gettleman is retained as GM, according to sources.
Under Dave Gettleman, the New York Giants have gone 9-23 and have seen a lot of talent walk out the door for not fitting the “culture” Gettleman wants to install.
For whatever reason, Gettleman isn’t on the hot seat after the team finished 4-12.
