REPORT: Multiple Teams Interested In Former Chiefs RB Kareem Hunt

Earlier this season, when a video surfaced of Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt assaulting a female in a hotel lobby, many people immediately compared his situation to the Ray Rice fiasco, as many thought his career was over when the Chiefs cut him.

But now, Hunt may be back in the league sooner rather than later.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter:

Multiple teams have expressed interest in Hunt, and it now appears the former Chiefs running back will have a job “sooner rather than later,” one league source told ESPN.

Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy, who was the Chiefs offensive coordinator prior to becoming the team’s head coach was the first to openly acknowledge that they would consider signing Hunt but, there are others as well, according to the report from ESPN.

Hunt faces potential discipline as the league continues it’s investigation. He was released by the Chiefs on Nov. 30th but the league is excepted to complete its investigation by the start of the free agency in March.
