REPORT: NFL Will Play A Game On Christmas Day Which Is A Friday

The NFL is looking to compete with the NBA for ratings on Christmas Day.

According to Jeff Duncan of The Athletic, the Saints will host the Vikings on Christmas Day.

The NFL has typically tried to avoid playing on Christmas Day, leaving that day for the NBA but when the holiday has fallen on a Sunday, the league has played games on Christmas Eve and playing just one game on Christmas.

This year — it seems like the NFL is going out of it’s way by scheduling a game on Christmas despite it being a Friday.
