REPORT: Pete Carroll May Consider Retirement After 2017 Season

 

One of the more shocking news of the day about coaches comes out of Seattle.

According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, Pete Carroll may consider retirement at the conclusion of the 2017 season.

If his is it for Carroll, he will be responsible for leading the Seahawks to six-straight playoff appearances and their only Super Bowl win in franchise history.

There are also rumors amongst the NFL inner circles that the Seahawks could begin rebuilding their roster by moving on form their big-name, highly paid defensive stars like Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor, Cliff Avirl and Michael Bennett.

 

The Seahawks kept their season alive last week, defeating the Cowboys, 21-12. They can clinch a playoff spot in Week 17 by defeating the Arizona Cardinals and a loss by the Atlanta Falcons.
