OMAHA, NE – Peyton Manning officially announcing the inevitable early Sunday morning, essentially announcing his retirement. Manning told ESPN’s Chris Mortenson that he would be formally announcing that he’s hanging it up Monday morning in Denver with a press conference.
Many have wondered if the figure we’ve all come to know and love will take his talents to the broadcasting booth, as an analyst and perhaps management or ownership of an NFL franchise. But as of now, Peyton’s post-football career is off to a less exuberant start.
Manning settled into Omaha Retirement Village, a full-care complex for the elderly located in you guessed it, Omaha, Nebraska. Located thousands of miles from both New England or Seattle, Peyton seems to have picked the correct place.
The home offers a plethora of activities for Manning, which includes endorsement commercials, shuffle board, bingo, and knitting, none of which who have a chance of being intercepted.
Sources say Manning isn’t sure how long he was spend at ORV before embarking on new adventures, so only time will tell.
