REPORT: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Are Expected To Go “All In” To Sign Tom Brady

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going all-in on Tom Brady.

According to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, the Bucs are “going all-in” on Brady, with head coach Bruce Arians “leading the charge” and Buccaneers ownership ready to spend whatever it takes to get Brady to Tampa.

Per the report:

It’s true. The franchise that has not reached the postseason in 12 years will do almost anything to land the quarterback who has been to the playoffs for 11 straight seasons and won six Super Bowls.

If we reach the legal free-agent tampering period Monday at noon and Brady is behind Door No. 2, Bruce Arians and the Glazer family will try to kick that sucker down for Touchdown Tommy.

This is not hype. It’s hope. This is fact, not fantasy. This is the plan. This is the Bucs’ play.

From a football perspective, the Buccaneers make sense for the 42-year-old Brady as the team has a strong group offensive weapons to surround Brady with led by Mike Evans to go along with a proven NFL coach in Bruce Arians. From a financial perspective, the Bucs ownership is ready to spend “whatever it takes” and it helps when the state where they play (Florida) has no state income tax.

Do the Buccaneers have what it takes to lure Brady to Tampa? We’ll find out.
