Despite being reported a jammed hand, the injury Tom Brady suffered during practice preparing for the AFC Championship game has gotten worse with the information that comes out.
After being upgraded to an injury that required a few stitches, new reports reveal that the Patriots quarterback needed a whopping 10 stitches to close a severe cut on the inside portion of his hand need his thumb. The injury also sprained his collateral ligament.
Some additional context/information: On Tom Brady, he required more than 10 stitches after sustaining a cut on the inside part of his right throwing hand near the thumb Wednesday, per source. Those at practice described a bloody scene.

The Patriots ruled Brady as the starter after being able to throw Friday.
Following the AFC Championship, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported it was in fact 12 stitches.
