Who would have thought the Browns of all teams would be the biggest player in NFL free agency.
Just Thursday, Cleveland made a suprise move, trading for Texans QB Brock Osweiler. With Osweiler, they acquired a handful of picks.
Soon after, it was announced the Browns had plans to do away with Osweiler, cutting him or trading him, in which the Browns would have netted draft picks in either situation.
NFL Network’s Ian Rappaport is now saying the team will likely cut Robert Griffin III, and make a run at Patriots backup QB Jimmy Garrapollo.
My understanding is #Browns are expected to make a run at Jimmy G. They can offer the most. I do not believe the #Patriots want to trade him

If that falls though, they will take a QB in the draft, likely UNC’s Mitch Trubisky.
My understand of #Browns QB situation: They’ll release RGIII. Shop Brock Osweiler and see what comes of it. Likely draft a QB as well.
