After successfully getting an owners vote Monday, the Oakland Raiders officially announced they would be moving to Las Vegas.
Not too long ago, the St. Louis Rams and San Diego Chargers both too decided to relocate, but unlike the Raiders, they didn’t and won’t be playing another game back home. The Raiders will be playing in Oakland for the next 2 years.
The Raiders will stick around where they are until their stadium’s built over in Vegas, and not only will they expect fans to show up and support to a team that just left them, but they will be paying inflated ticket prices to do so.
Seahawks punter Jon Ryan perfectly summarized the awkward situation:
I know I just dumped you but I’m going to stay in our house for the next 2 years until my new gf is done building our new house. #Raiders
