If any team was going to sign Blair Walsh you’d think it would be anyone but the team that got an up close and personal view at the reason the Vikings cut him last season.
The ex-Minnesota kicker was picked by the Seattle Seahawks Thursday. Walsh was cut in November after missing four field goals and four extra points. The kicker seemed to be in an extended slump after an impressive start to his career, missing a combined nine field goal attempts and eight extra points, most notable the would-be game-winning kick that Walsh missed, moving the Seahawks on in the playoffs back in 2015.
Now Walsh joins those Seahawks, making it official by signing the contract.
