Rudy Gobert tested positive for Coronavirus earlier this week, promoting the suspension of the 2020 NBA season.
A day later teammate Donovan Mitchell also registered positive on a test having contracted it from his teammate. Unfortunately, it looks like Mitchell wasn’t the only one Gobert passed the virus along to.
A small child from Massachusetts has fallen ill and tested positive just a week after coming into contact with Gobert while receiving an autograph while the Jazz were at an away game in Boston to play the Celtics.

BREAKING: An elementary school student who received an autograph from Rudy Gobert in his game in Boston has tested positive for coronavirus, via NBC.
It’s uncertain if the virus was transmitted during the exchange.

Gobert apologized after he made light of the virus by touching all the microphones and recorders in the room after a press conference, either contracting it soon there after or passing the virus along to others.
