We know just how heated the Bengals vs Steelers rivalry can get. With the teams breaking out in a pregame scuffle before their regular season matchup, and officials having to stand at midfield incase a repeat brawl before this game, things are testy to say the least.

At the end of the 1st quarter of Saturday’s playoff game, Steelers offensive line coach Mike Munchak shoved Bengals’ Reggie Nelson after he went out-of-bounds, drawing a 15-yard personal foul penally. Munch also appeared to pull Nelson’s hair to which he collectively took offense to, turning around and hitting Munchak with a shove of his own.

You know the rivalry is real when coaches want in on the action! The Bengals and Steelers are currently knotted up at 0.

  1. Thanks for the sensible critique. Me and my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research about this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more from this post. I’m very glad to see such wonderful information being shared freely out there.
