What’s up with Pittsburgh Steelers coaches getting into bar fights?
Last year, Steelers linebackers coach Joey Porter was arrested outside a Pittsburgh bar, just hours after the team won it’s wild-card game against the Miami Dolphins and now Todd Haley and his wife face a similar situation.
According to reports, Haley and his wife got into an altercation at a bar called ‘Tequila Cowboy’ that resulted in the Steelers coach suffering a hip injury:
#Steelers OC Todd Haley was shoved down outside a bar near Heinz Field on New Year’s Eve, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. It resulted in a hip injury. Police have looked into it.

Pittsburgh PD spokeswoman says Todd Haley’s wife Christine was involved in a “minor scuffle” shortly after midnight Jan. 1. “The scuffle was quickly ended. Todd Haley was not involved nor injured.” Both Haleys were escorted out of the bar. No injuries or charges.

Unlike Porter, Haley wasn’t arrested:
Per @RapSheet, Todd Haley was attacked outside the bar. Police have no information on this part of the situation.

To be clear on Haley, police say he was not involved/injured in an incident INSIDE the bar. @RapSheet says he was involved in an altercation OUTSIDE. Police spokeswoman has no information on the one OUTSIDE.

The investigation is still on going and the Steelers don’t expect Haley to miss any time away from the team.
