The star WR was at the center of the drama that was the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2018 after reportedly getting into alternations with quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and disagreements with head coach Mike Tomlin.
The rift resulted Brown being benched for a must-win Week 17 game following a missed walk-through and eventually to a request to be traded.
That request has since been granted, but it’s not exactly to where Brown was hoping.
Brown dropped numerous hints of his affinity for playing for the San Francisco 49ers and even his hometown Miami Dolphins. The blistery tundra of upstate New York is a far cry from those.
Other teams interested included the Broncos, Jets, Redskins, Titans and Raiders.
