Steve Smith’s Son Snapchats With His Dad After Being Ejected From Game

Steve Smith’s son had a little fun after his dad, Steve Smith Sr. was ejected from Saturday night’s Week 3 preseason matchup vs the Ravens. Smith was involved in a scuffle that started when a Redskins player viscously and unnecessarily tackled a Ravens wide receiver.
Smith Jr. took to snap chat once his dad joined him in the seats, saying “When ur dad gets ejected” jokingly and sarcastically thanking the NFL. Actually pretty cool being able to watch a live NFL game with your dad for one of the first time’s in a long time, considering his pops is usually busy any given Sunday.

Peyton Smith, an avid tweeter gave us some personal insights as he kept up with the game:Screen Shot 2015-08-29 at 10.13.14 PM Screen Shot 2015-08-29 at 10.13.07 PM Screen Shot 2015-08-29 at 10.12.58 PM

Here’s the play that started the fight, note the WR tackled is not Steve Smith Sr.

We still aren’t sure why Smith was ejected considering he didn’t throw any punches. But then again, being ejected from a preseason game as an NFL veteran is more on the ‘doing a favor’ side of things.
