Temperature For AFC Championship Game Between Chiefs & Patriots Projected To Be -5° F

Nobody knows how exactly the Patriots will fare in an AFC Championship game outside of Foxboro or if Patrick Mahomes will be able to pick apart a Bill Belichick led defense in the playoffs, but one thing we do know – It’s going to be cold.

An Arctic blast is set to strike the city Missouri come Sunday just in time for Chiefs-Patriots, and it’s on track to be the coldest ever game played as Arrowhead Stadium.

The National Weather service is projecting near freezing temperatures, with a low reaching -5 degrees Fahrenheit.

Although the AFC Divisional round matchup between the Chiefs and Colts featured snow, there is no precipitation forecasted at this time for Sunday.

With the air so cold, Tom Brady might not even have to deflate his footballs as Mother Nature will do it for him.
