Brock Osweiler Announces His Retirement After 7 Seasons

After seven NFL seasons, Brock Osweiler’s time in the NFL has come to a close.

The Arizona State University prospect was taken in the second round by the Denver Broncos in 2012.

Osweiler played relatively well early in his career, helping the Broncos win Super Bowl 50 alongside Peyton Manning.

After a good showing, Osweiler commanded a high price on the market, and the Houston Texans fell into the trap of giving the QB a four-year, $72 million dollar contract. He would only last one season before being traded along with future Houston picks for a mere fourth-rounder from the Browns.

Osweiler was released by Cleveland later that year. You know you’re bad when the Browns don’t even want you.

After brief stints with the Broncos (for the second time) and the Miami Dolphins, Osweiler has decided to call it quits after not being able to find a market for himself.

Osweiler made an astounding $41.3 million over the course of his illustrious career.

Thanks for the memes, Brock.
