The Saints are playing their first game since the infamous pass interference no call that essentially robbed New Orleans of a trip to Super Bowl 53.
On Monday night, the New Orleans faithful showed up to the Mercedes Benz Super Dome, the same stadium where the officials helped end the season, wearing referee uniforms after ripping the NFL’s officiating all offseason.
Whether it to troll the refs or attempt to get them on their side this time around, it’s a funny sight.
One of the most popular jerseys in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome tonight are referees’ jerseys. A ton of Saints’ fans wearing them for the team’s home opener.
