Titans’ Kevin Byard Wants To Make Tom Brady “Look Like Blake Bortles”

The Tennessee Titans aren’t facing Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars this week but that doesn’t mean the team’s safety, Kevin Byard won’t disrespect the Jags QB.

The Titans safety made a bold statement about Patriots QB Tom Brady and what he plans on doing to the five-time Super Bowl winning QB:

“It’s a playoff game, so it’s not like it’s the preseason where I can go out there, ‘Oh, it’s Brady,’ and I’m chillin,” Byard said, via the Tennessean. “This is a playoff game. So I don’t really care if it was Joe Montana. You know what I’m saying? I’m trying to go out there and win the game.”

“I want to make him look like Blake Bortles if I can and try to catch a couple picks,” he said. “Tom Brady is a great quarterback, but it’s a playoff game. I’m not really looking at it like that.”

Byard was named a first-team All-Pro last week and also intercepted Bortles twice in Week 17.

He also isn’t the first Titan to take a swipe at Bortles. Last week, Titans DL Jurrell Casey also decided to rip the Jags QB prior to the Titans playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
