Andrew Luck shocked the NFL world Saturday night when he abruptly retired from football at the age of 29 just two weeks before the start of the season.
A few states over, Tom Brady is somehow still chugging along, heading into his 19th year coming off a Super Bowl title.
The title is just another in the illustrious career of Brady, who went head to head with former Colts and eventual Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning in one of the greatest individual rivalries in sports history.
Now at age 42, Brady has now not only outlasted Manning, but outlasted the guy the Colts drafted to replace him in Luck.
Not only did @TomBrady outlast Peyton Manning, but he’s outlasted Manning’s successor in Andrew Luck. Think about that for a minute.
