Arizona Cardinals defensive back Tyrann Mathieu was one of the many NFL players vocal about ex-NFLer Will Smith’s murder this weekend. Many took to Twitter to express their sorrows and condolences, but Mathieu’s was a little bit different.
Mathieu sent out a slew of tweets after he heard that Cardell Hayes was the murderer, saying that he knew him. Mathieu went on to express him own feelings, calling him a coward:

Mathieu appeared on the Rich Eisen show Monday, and noted in an interview that the family of Hayes has threatened his life as a result of his tweets.
