When it comes to gruesome injuries on the football field, punters aren’t usually the players that come to mind, but with large men running right at your legs, it’s surprising they don’t happen more often. University of Buffalo punter Evan Finnegan fell to that fate Saturday night against Penn State.
During a third-quarter punt play, Finnegan’s leg collided with Penn State’s Journey Brown on the kick, snapping the bones upon contact.
