Legend has it Pittsburgh’s special teams unit is still getting drawn offsides.
The Steelers-Chargers SNF game ended in one of the most bizarre ways possible after Pittsburgh was called for theee straight offside penalties on Chargers game-winning FG attempts.
Though all looked justified, video shows that Artie Burns and other Steelers reacted to the Chargers center shifting the ball (an illegal snap infraction) prior to the snap on the attempt that was blocked.

The play should have resulted in a snap infraction penalty on Los Angles on a turnover on downs for the Steelers, sending the game into overtime.
Though the penalty is rarely called, the Cowboys were hit with one earlier this season in a nearly identical scenario that cost them the game.
