Virginia Tech DE Dadi Nicolas was flagged for an offsides penalty during the third quarter of Saturday’s loss against North Carolina. Nicolas, clearly disagreeing with the call, deciding it was a good idea to try and change the official’s mind by hitting him, slapping his arm away.
The hit cost the Hokies 15 additional yards.
Talk about a bonehead play.

Nicolas was surprisingly not ejected from the game, maybe for the fact that he would have hit the ref who tossed him.
