Who would have thought the Broncos new uniforms would be the second biggest news of the day in Denver.
Once again, the Jets have struck out on their top pick QB, trading Zach Wilson to the Denver Broncos just three years after trading Sam Darnold to the Panthers in 2021.
Wilson was taken No. 2 overall in the ’21 NFL Draft out of BYU, where the Jets become enamored with his Mahomes-like arm talent.
23 TDs and 25 INTs later, Wilson is headed to Denver in return for a late-round pick swap (6th for a 7th) along with the Jets paying some of Russell Wilson’s dead cap hit.
