J.J. Watt Roasts Austin Rivers Over Comments About NBA And NFL Players Changing Sports

Former NBA guard and current ESPn analyst Austin Rivers pissed off a lot of people when he made a claim about how basketball players would adjust to the NFL and vice versa.

Appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, Rivers said he believes you can hypothetically “take 30 players right now in the NBA and throw them into the NFL,” whereas “You cannot take 30 NFL players and put them in the NBA.” In addition to having pushback from McAfee, Rivers was also called out by legendary defensive end J.J. Watt on Twitter/X:
