With Stephen Hawking now deceased, this man may have taken his titled as one of the world’s smartest men.
Ali Demirkaya of Turkey, a soccer-loving nut was banned from his favorite team’s Denizli Ataturk Stadium for one year, but came up with an innovative way to still watch Denizlispor play – get a crane and watch it from outside it.
Demirkaya rented the crane for 354 liras (less than $100 USD) and showed up for his team’s match against Gaziantepspor Saturday,
Only in Turkey 🇹🇷
A Denizlispor fan who was banned from the stadium for 12 months, hired a crane out to watch his side play this weekend! 👀 pic.twitter.com/0rZRflDP1N— TFTV Turkish-Football (@TurkFootballTV) April 28, 2018

Unfortunately Turkish police did not allow Demirkaya to finish the match, but he was able to catch 75 of the 90 minutes from the best seat in the house.
