The 2019 NFL Pro-Bowl is underway and it’s about the only time you’ll see a Jets player making a tackle in February. Unfortunately for the New England Patriots mascot, specifically the man inside, that meant a trip to the hospital.
The Pats mascot was hospitalized Thursday morning after New York Jets safety Jamal Adam jokingly laid him out with a rather brutal tackle. Don’t let the permanent smile on the face of that costume fool you, that man is hurting inside.
Oh boy. The #Patriots mascot who got tackled by Jamal Adams was sent to the hospital this morning.
Adams said his intention was never to hurt him. It was all just a joke. The NFL is "not happy" with him because of the incident, per Adams. pic.twitter.com/xB4HmamxKq
